CHURCH MINISTRIES
There are a number of active ministries within our congregation and we are very grateful to God that we are able to have an impact in our community and within our fellowship through these ministries.
Men’s Ministry
Each month, on the second Monday, the Men of the church meet to grow in the Lord, study the Bible, enjoy fellowship, and pray for our Church family
Youth Ministry
The Ardent Youth Ministry is dedicated to helping our youth grow in their walk with Jesus Christ. Adriana leads the Youth and has been doing a fantastic job mentoring our teens in the Lord. They meet weekly and have Sunday School as well just for the Teens. The target age for the youth group is 12-25 years old.
We are so happy to mention that on Sunday Mornings, we now have a Young Teen class for ages 12-14 and a Youth/College class for 15-25ish.
Children’s Ministry
Join the fun every Sunday at 9:45 for GLOW (God’s Little Overcoming Warriors) Team Sunday School. We go through Bible Stories, memorize verses, win prizes, and have a great time. The GLOW Team also meets on Wednesday’s at 7PM and learn more about the Lord and the Bible. Alexa leads the Sunday school class and is doing an outstanding job.
Pastor DJ and other ministers have been teaching the Wednesday night time with the kids. The target age group for the children’s group is 5-11 years old.
Adult Bible Study
On Thursdays, the Seniors of the church meet for prayer and Bible Study. The meeting is open to everyone who would like to take part. There is so much that is accomplished through prayer, and this time of prayer and study is an important aspect to the ministry.
This class is led by Bishop Steve Couch (ret) and it is a wonderful time in book studies and spiritual growth.
Sunday Morning Prayer
Each Sunday, before Sunday School, everyone is welcome to join us for a time of prayer at 9:30. Spending time in prayer sets the foundation for a great worship service. Prayer is the foundation of the Church and must be a priority. We have seen the Spirit of God move in mighty ways and hold great expectation for what is to come.
Senior Care Services
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Victor, a Deacon of the Church, leads a time of singing, prayer, and reading of the Word. There are two different Senior Care centers that he and other volunteers minister in. This is a great ministry to our Widows and Orphans within Wichita Falls and an even greater blessing to those who participate.
“REMEN” Spanish Marriage
Restoration Ministry
Armando and Lupe Juarez, Lay Ministers, lead a marriage restoration retreat for husbands and wives to grow in their love for Jesus and for each other. This is not only for those whose marriages are hurting. This is for every married couple who wants the best for their marriage and to grow with each other in the Lord. Keep an eye on the events as space is limited and fills up quickly.
Sunday Night “Deeper Life”
On Sunday Nights at 5:30PM, we will go deeper in studying the Word in this service format. Bring your Bible, a pen, and a notepad! There will be some deep spiritual concepts introduced that will expand your understanding and foundation in the Bible and Christian Theology.
